A Sparkle & Shine Prom Send Off!

Good morning friends and happy Wednesday!

I know on Wednesdays I normally come with some type of Wellness Wednesday post, but I wanted to take a different route in the wellness area today.

I believe that allowing yourself to be creative and doing what you love is apart of wellness. At least it is for me. I try my best to create something daily. Even if I may not always show it.

I’m SO grateful that I have a job that I love and that allows and requires me to be creative.

Today, I’m finally sharing the prom send off gathering we had for Ms. Jasmine.

You all know my creative process for party styling. If you haven’t read it, you can see how I come up with my party concepts here. I didn’t really have a theme I was going for like in times past. I just knew whatever we were doing, I didn’t want it to upstage her and her beautiful gown.

I decided to stick with silver and white and I’m so glad I did! I love all the sparkly details! Here is some of the details I was obsessed with.

Balloon Garland

Y’all know these garlands are all the rage in party land right now and for good reason! You can pretty much make them into being what you desire and the color combinations are endless!!

Like I said, sparkly, but neutral is what I was going for. Those metallic balloons gave me life honey!! I also looked in my stash and found some party pom poms. I thought they went perfectly with Jasmine, especially since she’s a cheerleader.

Boxwood Backdrop

Another party trend right now are boxwood greenery backdrops and rightfully so! They coordinate with just about anything and bring an exciting natural element to the design without being overwhelming.

Table Decor & Flowers

Sparkly, shiny and fun was what I wanted. The silver sequins tablecloth was perfect. I also used some mirrored cube vases to make floral arrangements. They add the perfect touch. I also decided to stick with all clear vessels for the desserts.

Desserts

Nothing says love like a good dessert table. The desserts don’t only need to be pretty, but they must be delicious as well!

Both the girls love cupcakes. In fact, most people do, so I had a few varieties to choose from. I think I had vanilla, birthday cake and lemon. I also had some white chocolate covered Oreos.

I knew I pretty much wanted everything on the table to be white. Again no competition with the guest of honor. I called Rita of Rockin Kandy Apples. My go to friend for candy Apples NEVER disappoints! I asked for white with acrylic sticks and that’s what I got! Thank you Rita!!

So there you have it! A sparkly and elegant prom send off for Ms. Extra Jasmine!

This was all a surprise for her because she had no clue what I was doing and she told me she wanted to be surprised.

It’s funny how she is the one that LOVES all the extra details. Jordan has her moments when she likes the extra stuff, but Jasmine never turns hers off.

I’m sure they’re both grateful for their extra party styling momma ha!!

Thanks for stopping in. Let me know what you think!
