Springtime In Paris!

Springtime In Paris Party

Hey Party people !!

It has been such a while since I have seen you all ! Things are absolutely bananas over here in Patterson land, but that’s not a bad thing ! As promised I wanted to share Little Miss Jordan’s Party with you.

Her theme this year was Springtime In Paris !

So I wanted her to have something she could keep from her party. So I decided to get her a Paris canvas that all her party guest could sign and then she’d be able to hang it in her room.

A little about Ms. Jordan…

She is sweet, fun loving caring and hilarious ! She is little, but has so much personality ! She loves anything dealing with art, she’s crafty and creative ( Like her momma ! ). She is super honest and says precisely what she is thinking, but very respectively. We taught her to speak her mind and to be honest. She is also a giver with such a tender heart. She’s not perfect, but she’s ours and we adore her and the young lady she is becoming !

As I said before, Her theme that she chose this year was Springtime In Paris ! I love planning parties and styling them for others, but when you can do it for your own, it makes it a little extra special.

Below is some pictures from her party last year! We wanted to stay as close to the theme as possible, but without using black, white and hot pink. Those were her party colors last year ! You can see more of that party here

Back to the current party !! So we decided that we wanted to do quite a few colors and use tulips. When I think of Paris In Springtime, I tend to think of the Eiffel tower surrounded by colorful tulips and flowers. So that’s precisely what I attempted to recreate ! I started by making flower letters of Jordan’s name that I knew I would have sitting on top of the table. I found the cutest vintage tiered stand that I knew would be perfect for the centerpiece!

Eiffel towers with flower bunches were too adorable for me ! To make it even better, my friend Shennetta sent me all the Parisian décor she had from a previous shower she did ! She is the best ! She was also my virtual party planning partner ! We make an awesome team !

You all KNOW that I LOVE stripes, so her linens and runners were the perfect choice. Along with her cute stripe cups!

I am sorta kinda loving honeycomb balls ! For me they are so nostalgic ! I used huge balloons and tassles last year, so I knew I didn’t want to do that again. I hung honeycomb balls from the ceiling fan in 3 different sizes.

Dessert & Food Table

So again, I decided to keep things simple… Simple strawberry cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes and fruit tart waffle bowls ! I wanted the dessert table to look like a French patisserie, which is why I used the pink boxes and doiles ! Here is a closeup !

The food table consisted of submarine sandwiches, potato chips in cute doily cones and infused lemonades. The lemonades were regular flavored, raspberry and blueberry. See super simple !

I loved the simplicity of this party design. Not too much, not to overdone. As my children get older they are loving the more simplified style. Sometimes certain things can be too much and I love that they are finding out at an early age, that less can sometimes be more ! Well I hope that You enjoyed the party design ! The girls as always had a ball !

What are some of the ways that you celebrate your children’s birthdays? Do you go all out or do you prefer to keep things simple?

Until next time, when we will be chatting Easter!
