IT’S HERE, IT’S HERE!!!!

It’s LAUNCH DAY Friends!!

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am and how this has been such a long time coming.

I don’t even know where to begin! This may get a little long! Sorry beforehand!

I first “met” Amber Crudup when she did the rebranding for one of my fave girl photographers Ariel Perry!

Who happens to be the one who took all of the lovely photos you see on the new site!! Love her!

I first reached out to Amber about business coaching. After taking one of her branding classes she offered, I decided that my needs had changed and I would love for her to design my logo. She walked me through the process with an entire branding workbook!! Y ‘all it was a lot, but now I see why! It pretty much ask everything about you. I sent her my ideas and she sent me my mood board!!

I was in LOVE!!!!! So good right?!?

Then I decided ok, I really would love to work with Amber to design my website and rebranding, so we chatted about it and decided it would be a go. I knew it would be a great investment so we got started. That’s when the real self sabotage and over thinking came into play.

There were days when I was moments away from emailing Amber and saying oh let’s wait a little while or let’s put the project on hold just to decide if this is what I really want to do.

Ever been there?!? Can I be fully transparent.

The last couple of months were the roughest. I doubted myself, my abilities. I even thought about wanting to stop event planning and blogging as a whole and just do “something else”. I mean shut social media pages and everything!

I had gotten plum scared!!!

Now as a Godly woman, I KNOW that fear is NOT of God, however, if God never thought we would encounter or be faced with fear, He wouldn’t have left such specific instructions in His word telling us not to do it.

I’ve always been the girl pushing everyone else to just go for it or encouraging others, but this time it was my turn and I was having a hard time y’all. I mean hard. When things didn’t work out, I would say well maybe it wasn’t meant to be, self sabotage at its finest.

This is why I LOVE Jesus!!! He sent me some gentle reminders letting me know WHO I was and WHAT He’d placed in me. I had to encourage myself. I had to get my whole life. My husband and some family friends had to pray for me AND check me too and I’m grateful (you need people in your life like that).

Now watch this… As soon as I made up my mind to go on anyway, Amber emailed me the following day and told me we would be talking strategy and then the same week my website would launch!!!

Crazy right?!? Not really though!

If that wasn’t enough, I got to be onset that same week with Lara Casey for their 2019 PowerSheets photoshoot.

That was life changing and so much confirmation, but we’ll talk about that closer to the release of the PowerSheets!!

Anyways, I told you this would be long!!

I had my design strategy meeting with Amber on Monday.

Y’all Monday!

On Tuesday I had a homepage mock-up.

On Thursday morning, I had the desktop design mock-up and that evening, I had the mobile site mock-up!!! We have talked everyday this week and the process has really been seamless. I’m so mad at myself for not doing this sooner, but slow progress is STILL progress!!

I am still in shock that this is all mine! This site has Nicole written all over it… Literally!!

It’s really been a pleasure working with Amber!
