Hey Friends!

Happy Hump Day! I am super busy this week! I am planning my baby girls’ 10th birthday party for the weekend, trying to get myself together for my trip I’ve got to take next week ( I’ll tell you more about that later !!) and making sure my kids are situated while we’re gone!

Sheeewwww I am doing a lot and I’m sure you are as well!

You may ask ” How do you have so much energy girl?”

Well, I try my best to stay on a regimen of taking multivitamins and B-12. Especially when I know my days are going to be very hectic! I also try to use my Nutribullet almost everyday. Do I always do it? Nope! However, I can definitely tell a difference when I don’t!

Another way I stay energized is that I drink lemon water and lots of it!

Lemons have so many health benefits such as:

– It helps control blood pressure

– Gives energy

– It aids in digestion

 Alkalizes the body

– Is a natural antiseptic to aid in pretty skin

– It boost the immune system

– Promotes health weight loss

Those are just a few of the benefits!

I try to drink hot lemon water in the mornings when I wake up. Then throughout the day, I’ll add lemon to my water. The bottle that I use has a filter in the center that holds whatever fruits that I want to place in my water and just infuses the flavor into them.

I wanted to give you a simple recipe for a detox water that I use. This will not only detox but it will give you a lot of energy.

– 2 liters of water ( purified, spring or distilled )

– 1 medium cucumber

– 1 medium lemon

– handful of mint leaves

Cut all the ingredients up and place them in a pitcher. Leave in the refrigerator overnight to steep. Drink in the morning and throughout the day.

This water will not only energize you but it will detox you also, so be sure to stay near a bathroom!

If you’re getting your 8 glasses of water a day, great! Be sure to add a couple pieces of lemon to some of those, it will change how you feel and soon you’ll began to see the benefits! A little cucumber wouldn’t hurt either! Plus it makes it pretty!!
