Spring Fever 2018

Happy Sunday Friends!!

Today I’m coming to you with a post collaboration with some of my blogger friends. I don’t know about you but I’m so over winter!! Mine you if snowed here yesterday!! Well I think I may be able to help you get in the spring mood!!

All week long these lovely ladies have been sharing ideas to get you in the in the mood for spring!!

Today I’m sharing with you my fave!!! Fresh flowers!!! I always buy fresh flowers, but it just adds a little extra when everything is blooming!!

I absolutely love having fresh flowers in our home. I used these flowers at a photoshoot with Ariel Perry. My friend Deena picked out this beautiful bounty of blooms and I couldn’t be more pleased!!

Here are a few tips to get you started floral arranging like a pro.

Grocery store flowers are your friend

Listen you don’t have to spend a ton of money at a florist to have beautiful flowers. Trader Joe’s and your local grocery store have beautiful blooms. Just make sure you get to them early so you aren’t left with all the picked over leftovers.

Prep your flowers

Generally, I remove any greenery that will be inside my vase. This keeps your water fresher longer. Also I cut the stems at an angle and arrange them in my case BEFORE I add water. That way you can see where you’d like everything to be, before committing.

Have fun and do you!

Listen I’m floral arrangements or anything you do, be sure to have fun and do you. If you like your flowers to be a certain length or there’s a certain vase you’d like to use, then just do you boo!! That’s my main too for you today!! Do you!!

I hope that you’ll check out all the other ladies in this blog hop. I’ll tag them below. I hope that you’ll incorporate some element of fresh flowers in your home. Not just for spring, but all throughout the year!!

  3. Flowers are my favorite and you made them look better than the florist! Great tips since I’m always working with grocery store flowers. I learned to arrange and then add water. I’m always feeling anxious about getting them in water but I need to finalize my look first. Thanks for sharing for #springfever18 Nicole! Can’t wait to collab again…
